Still looking for a last minute game day dish? I’ve got you covered. This one is delish and sure to impress a crowd. It’s certainly the most nourishing, healing (with bone broth) and satisfying chili I’ve ever had.
Beans or no beans, that’s your call. I’ve had it both ways and it’s divine either way. So stop the recipe searching, and trust me on this one. You will not be disappointed!
Ps, if you know me well, you know I have an utter love for tortilla chips. My favorite are Siete brand. I could eat the whole bag in one sitting. I enjoyed my chili with these, while my family would have it no other way than with frito-style corn chips, which I totally get. This is how I group up eating chili. Fortunately I was able to find a brand with much cleaner ingredients, Bearitos Sea Salt Corn Chips. Definitely worth checking out.
pps, another love of mine is Ume Plum Vinegar. I add it to most every dish I make. It serves as a great salt alternative (although I generally use both – the salt suggested in a recipe as well as a dash or two of ume plum vinegar). Since most every savory recipe (good ones at least) have some acid component to them, ume is a perfect addition to basically any dish. An extra pop of salt and vinegar! I mention it here because I added ume plum vinegar to this recipe and think it made all the difference in the world. I highly suggest purchasing some.
Happy chili eating!
