I wish I could take full credit for this recipe, however I must give credit where credit is due, and in this case, that’s to Maria Emmerich. If you follow me on social media, you’ve likely seen me mention Maria at one point or another. She is a genius in the kitchen and makes recipes that take exactly like meals you would get at a restaurant or order for take-out. I am always impressed with her recipes, and her cookbooks are my go-to’s when planning our meals for the week.
I came across this recipe last week and since my husband is an Italian food lover I decided to give it a go. Boy was that a good call. It was nourishing, satisfying and downright delicious. It makes for a perfect warming meal on a cold night. Give this one a shot – it’s a no brainer for a weeknight meal the whole family will devour.
One side note, you will notice that bone broth is used in a lot of my recipes. I highly suggest making your own broth (there are plenty of recipes online) or purchasing a good quality bone broth. My favorite brands are Kettle and Fire and Rocketbroth.
