Who doesn’t love a CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE? They are a regularly requested item at our house. I converted my husband, Mark, to sweets a while back (sorry, love), and these cookies are his new favorite.
If you follow us on instagram, you’re aware that I have been making them weekly. Fortunately, they are incredibly easy to make and require very few ingredients and little time. They are also VERY low in sugar. I use Lakanto Monk Fruit for these, which is an all-natural, zero calorie, zero glycemic sweetener that does not elevate blood sugar or insulin levels.
If you’re looking for a low sugar, simple, delectable dessert to have around the house when your sweet tooth hits, these are for you. Kids (and husbands a like) will be grateful!
For an optional enhancement of brain function and elevation of mood (overall bliss), add in 1 teaspoon of Sunpotion Mucuna Pruriens Powder (dopamine bean).
ps. These cookies are fabulous re-heated. To re-heat, place cookies on a small skillet and heat on medium high for 1-2 minutes, until the chocolate begins to melt. Cookies will keep outside of the fridge for 48 hours. After that, refrigerate and re-heat!
